Julianne M.
Julianne is a former private school
teacher, has been joyously learning how to homeschool her three
children, McKinnlee – 11, McKaylee – 7, and Justus – 3 since
2004. She learns
just as much as her kids on any given day.
Her passion is to help families know that they CAN
homeschool. She
wants moms and dads to know that God created them to be teachers
of their children and that He equips them, through the Word.
You can find her at the church preschool on Sundays and
Wednesdays.
Laura B.
Greg and Laura have been homeschooling their children, now 15 and 13 from the beginning. Laura has served on this board since it's inception and has a heart to encourage others in their homeschool adventures. The four of us have enjoyed the riches of studying as many subjects as possible from a unit study approach that is chronological and historical, using what Charlotte Mason would call 'living' books. Having two teen agers, we now are layering in worldview studies to focus on big ideas that are a part of the Great Conversation in our culture and how best to bring the beauty and joy of Jesus to a hurting world . We love the outdoors, travel, helping others and family read-alouds (still!).
